The MarinePak7 is a marine-certified Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver that supports attitude and heave measurements with an integrated inertial navigation system (INS). Using our deeply coupled SPAN GNSS+INS technology, this receiver delivers a robust, reliable and assured position for operations nearshore.

Deeply coupled GNSS+INS technology

Deeply coupled describes how the satellite positioning and inertial measurements are closely integrated. Our unique algorithms leverage the inertial measurements to further refine the satellite positioning, which results in a highly robust position with rapid reacquisition of GNSS in the event of signal outages.

The MarinePak7 has optional features like GNSS heading, interference mitigation, and UHF radio corrections. A removable battery makes the MarinePak7 a completely portable solution that can continue operating through periods of power loss.

This combined system supports multi-constellation GNSS signals and is optimised to work with Oceanix Correction Services for PPP accuracy up to three centimetres (95%), making it a reliable solution for users operating outside of RTK base station infrastructure. For added redundancy, it includes the capability for RTK corrections transmitted via mobile phone and MSK Beacon corrections.
