Overview:
On Sunday, December 19, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. MST, the Waypoint FTP and licensing servers will undergo planned maintenance, resulting in temporary downtime. This maintenance is standard with our regular updates of Waypoint software to continue delivering the best post-mission measurements possible.
Products Affected:
This maintenance will impact all versions of Waypoint software, including Inertial Explorer, Inertial Explorer Xpress, GrafNav / GrafNet, GrafNav Static, and the Waypoint SDK.
Expected impact:
During this scheduled maintenance, users will not be able to activate or return software licenses, and they will not have access to the customer portal. Activation and/or returns will be possible outside of the maintenance window. Updates to public source lists, base station coordinates, precise SP3/CLK files, antenna calibrations, error models, datum/grid parameters, and DCB updates via FTP will be inaccessible during this time.
The TerraStar NRT service on the “North America” server will be offline. However, the “Europe” server will remain operational, allowing continued access to TerraStar NRT correction files for users to continue working as needed.
Customers wishing to activate or return licenses should do so before the maintenance window begins at 3:00 p.m. or wait until after 7:00 p.m. MST on December 19, 2021. For license details, navigate to Help → About Inertial Explorer → License Information → Local Licenses.
To update manufacturer files, download them from the NovAtel website at https://novatel.com/support/support-materials/waypoint-downloads and place them in the “resources” sub-folder within the software’s installation directory. Subscribers of the TerraStar NRT service should adjust the default server setting to “Europe” in the “Preferences” window to ensure uninterrupted service during this period.
Customers looking to return or activate their license should do so before 3:00 p.m. or after 7:00 p.m. MST on Sunday, December 19, 2021. To check license information, go to Help → About Inertial Explorer → License Information → Local Licenses.
Customers looking to update their manufacturer files can do so by downloading them through the NovAtel website at https://novatel.com/support/support-materials/waypoint-downloads. These files should be placed within the “resources" sub-folder of the software’s installation folder.
