Hexagon | NovAtel Announces End of Life for KVH P-1750 IMU. Click here for full details
The P-1750 Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) from KVH uses SPAN GNSS+INS technology from Hexagon | NovAtel to provide continuous 3D position, velocity and attitude solutions when paired with a NovAtel receiver. It is commercially exportable and uses Fiber Optic Gyros (FOG) and Micro Electromechanical Systems (MEMS) accelerometers. FOGs offer exceptionally long life and stable performance compared to similar gyro technologies.
The P-1750 offers tactical grade performance in a compact and rugged package with minimal power consumption. Improve the positioning accuracy of the real-time solution when you add TerraStar Correction Services to a NovAtel receiver and pair it with the P-1750. NovAtel's Waypoint Inertial Explorer post-processing software can process paired P-1750 and OEM7 receiver data to provide the system's highest possible accuracy and availability.
